Community guidelines
OutOfFrame exists so the public can see where monitoring happens — without becoming a sabotage toolkit.
Do
- Report publicly visible or known devices accurately
- Confirm or dispute with evidence, not vibes
- Respect block-level defaults for residential cameras
- Keep civic notes place-tied and civil
Don't
- Post guidance to disable, vandalize, jam, or interfere with cameras
- Doxx private homes with exact pins when block-level is enough
- Upload photos meant to harass residents
- Invent city-wide camera counts without sources
- Watch or publish someone else's plate or name, or claim OutOfFrame can see live police / Flock alert lists
